What is a Community Sport Hub? Hubs are part of the 2014 Commonwealth Games Legacy for local communities. Funding has been provided through sportscotland to develop Hubs locally. Hubs aim to:  bring local people together to provide a more joined up approach to local sports provision  help develop local sport and increase participation  support and develop coaches/volunteers  publicise local clubs Benefits to clubs:  promotion of your club – so people know what is on, where and when  a local forum for clubs to come together to share ideas, good practice and seek advice and work together  support for coach/volunteer development  support for club development and growth  access to funding  to help with coach training/qualification  for new equipment to help clubs accommodate new members  facilities funding  come and try and taster sessions to introduce potential new members to sport clubs  priorities for lets at facilities
